Rocks on The God Before Me
Don't judge this by just the art!!!
Read this if you're into non-conventional manga.
Pacing: 10/10
Story: So far it's really good!!!
Art: Don't you love when a story is complimented by the art? this is that. A promising premise
Characters: YES! Love when main characters are interesting in a maner that makes you relate to them!

Rocks on The Demon Prince goes to the Academy
🏅
"Uh what's this... demon what? The cover is a bit manhua-like. Is this even kore-"
*i literally drop my whole body weight on you at an incredible speed*
*I get up. dust myself off. fix my jacket.*
Hello. You may be wondering who am I. I am Ivern. Pleasure to meet me, I'm sure. I've come to save you from a dreadful misconception: do not understimate this manga. You might currently experiencing... some cognitive issues, your body being all mangled up and everything. But even without me falling on you, things would've probably been the same.
That's why I'm here. I'm here to tell you: it's incredible.
Art? Fûck yeah. Sure, environments look like shït. It's fine. Focus on their faces, the nice facial-expression-work, the charming way each of them is visually characterized.
And the writing? Oh the writing. AMAZING comedic timings. Impressive ability to pace the scenes. Quippy and snappy narration, with an effortless and natural approach to storytelling.
The cast too, is excellent. They are distinctive enough, extremely likeable, and MC himself is all I could ask for from a middle-aged, petty-àss, writer àsshole thrown into a magic academy, surrounded by teenagers.
Lastly, the plot itself and the action. Rather clever adventure. Rather interesting character growth. Both are stable, credible and grounded, while still being highly entertaining. I'm at chapter 50, and it didn't lose me even for a second. It had a tight grip on my throat from start to finish, especially thanks to its pacing.
So yeah. A GAI (Grand Accolade of Ivern™️) it is. Enjoy it, because it's a lovely adventure manga with a side of action. Mmmh? Oh yeah. I'm calling 911 for you, sure. Oh don't be a pûssy you'll be fine. Wheelchairs are amazing these days! I didn't even splat you that hard! Look, your liver is fine! Over there. Near that tree.
